Meet Lele Adams

I started my riding career at 8 years old after being an avid pony rider since I can remember.  I was taught hunt seat / balance seat.  In my teenage years I finally got my first horses, a mare in foal and a gelding .  I kept them on a farm along with several other horses and cattle.  On the farm, I learned about training problem horses from auctions, working with broodmares and foals, as well as a little western riding to work cows.  My balance seat proved to be a versatile riding style.  I was introduced to Fox Hunting and basic dressage during this time as well.

After graduating from school, I attended the Fulmer School of Equitation in England and received my A.I. degree from the British Horse Society.  On returning home I started a riding school with friends and from that time I have continued to ride, teach and train until the present day.  I rode as a professional whip in Virginia and I spent a few years breaking and training thoroughbreds for the racetrack and sales as well as taking them off the track and retraining for huntseat riders.  I have some 40 years of experience riding , training and teaching and enjoy working with riders in balance seat and basic dressage.
